I’m writing a resource book and I’ve just finished chapter 1, which you can download below.
It’s a 13 page booklet, including instructions, demonstrations and all the cards you need to print and cut out.
Here’s a preview of the book and a download link:

Hi Mike
I always look forward to your games. I plan to suscribe but wondered if any reason why a US site and payment in dollars?

Hi Tina, and thanks!
I’m going to write quite a long answer because I think that’s a question a lot of people might ask.
Patreon has been around for a while, and quite a lot of people I follow, who make podcasts or youtube videos, use it. That includes a few based in Europe.
It has features integrated into the site, like polls for voting, and some helpful ways to keep in contact with people who subscribe. I’ve had a positive experience as a subscriber myself, and I don’t have any personal experience with any other site like this.
The fact that it’s a US site might seem unintuitive, but I don’t think it actually makes a substantial difference financially. There’s no charge for subscribers, or me, when it converts from various currencies into dollars (though I will lose around 1% of the total by being based outside of the US, in addition to Patreon’s normal fees).
Overall, I’ve seen that it’s been successful for similar websites and it’s the most logical fit for what I’m looking for at the moment.
Thanks for the question,
Mike
